Villamil, aged 21, joined Bolívar's youth teams and made his professional debut in 2018 under coach Alfredo Arias. Since then, he has become an indispensable part of the team's midfield and aims to be a part of Bolívar's centennial celebrations in 2025.

Having already achieved two titles with Bolívar in 2019 and 2022, Villamil has also gained valuable experience in international competitions, featuring in the Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana. His performances have endeared him to the fans, and he has earned the trust of coach Beñat San José.
