My Soccer Journey:
From Fan to Journalist
I fell in love with soccer at a young age, and it has been a big part of my life ever since. As I grew older, I realized that the stories surrounding the sport were just as important as the games themselves. I decided to start writing about soccer and sharing my thoughts on social media.
After launching my own website, Footy Banter, I started writing for other publications, such as Hudson River Blue and Area Sports Network. My work with these outlets led to me being invited to attend MLS matches as press, where I was able to interview players, coaches, and staff.

My goal as a soccer journalist is to shed light on the positive aspects of the sport. I believe that there's far too much negativity in soccer coverage, especially online, and I want to be a positive voice that focuses on the stories that matter.
My style is casual and conversational. I want my readers to feel like they're chatting with a friend over a cup of coffee, not reading a dry news report. I focus on the human side of soccer, including player profiles, behind-the-scenes stories, and fan experiences.
