Ivan Valenzuela started playing soccer at the age of 11 at All Boys Club Affiliate in Moreno, Argentina. The following year, he was scouted and invited to trial at top Argentine side Velez Sarfield, where he was successful and began playing for the club. After a year at Velez Sarfield, he was called to play for Huracán, where he has played for the past 12 years.
During his time at Huracán, Valenzuela has played in the youth and reserve teams, honing his skills as a speedy right back. Last year, he had the opportunity to make his debut against Velez Sarfield, the team where he began his career.
With his speed, technical abilities, and defending prowess, Ivan Valenzuela is a promising player to watch in the future of Argentine soccer.
